Adobe to Release CS4 sooooooon

Another interesting note on the apple blogs is that Adobe is set to release CS4 sooooon. The announcement date has been set for September 23, while the actual release date has not. But reading some of the other blogs, it sounds like the release date should be some where around 3-4 weeks after the announcement date.

This is good news.  I am still running CS2 and have been meaning to upgrade to CS3.  This announcement means to hold off until CS4 comes out.  I might as well buy a full version as the upgrades to CS3 and CS4 would be just as much!

September 9th Event Confirmed

Since I am so behind the 8 ball here on posting, this by now is old news.  I read over at the TUAW, CultOfMac, AppleInsider and MacRumors about the Apple September 9th event being confirmed via an email that was sent out from Apple to the media.

Above is the image or “invite” that was sent out.  While it clearly has something to do with iPods, I am still hoping to hear about a speed bump with the notebook line, more importantly the MBA!

Damnit Leander, Check Your Sources!!1

So I could not sleep to well last night. So I got up and decided to make the early morning rounds on the apple blogosphere.  Top article on the CultOfMac blog, “Leaked Ad of MacBook Pro Actually a Mockup“.

When I read that of course I miss the Mockup part because I want to jump right into the article and get the jucie details. So of course I missed that when I started to read.  I was getting pretty excited over here.  If the MacBook Pro gets a bump and re-design soon, the MacBook Air has to follow sometime soon!

It’s not that I don’t care about the MBP, but I really want an MBA!  So andy new news on the Apple ntebook front should always be good right?!

Well, at the end of Leander’s article, he quickly mentiones that that this “ad” is of course a fake and from the MacRumors forums.  Way to give a mans hopes up Leander!  Maybe you should do a little bit more research before posting fakes as real huh?!

Intel Shows off possiable MacBook Air's new processor

The boys over at MacRumors posted something today about Intel showing off a new processor that just might end up in the MacBook Air.  How exciting is that?!?!?  I truly doubt that this will happen by this rumored September update, but ut is still exciting.

But this is interesting…..

Both the SL9400 (1.8GHz) and the SL9300 (1.6GHz) use a 1066MHz FSB and carry 6MB of L2 cache. Intel is also introducing a pair of 10W processors: the SU9400 (1.4GHz) and SU9300 (1.2GHz). Both of these chips run on an 800MHz FSB and carry 3MB of L2 cache.

So does this mean that there “technically” no speed bump since the processors are equal or LESS THEN the current processors?!?!!  This is my lack on knowledge in this area.  I guess thtat the new front bus speed bumping up from 800MHz to 1066MHZ is awesome….?

Another Speed Bump Mention

So I am running all kinds of behind here.  Work kept me busy the end of last week.  Then on top of if it, when I got home, I just wanted to rest, sorry!

So, the good people over at both TUAW and MacRumors posted something about the MacBook Air getting a speed bump/new processor in September. This is PERFECT!!! It’s right in line with what I am looking for.  Both are saying that the speed bump will happen with Intels new the Penryn-Class Duo Core 2 processor, increasing the clock speed to 2.0 GHz.  Check out both post here…

More September Rumors

Again, it is alllll the same.  Apple…..Notebooks…….iPods…….Refresh…….Update………September.  Get the picture?  This time is it MacRumors spitting out the smae stuff.  Take a look here.

Another Prediction!!1

So the good people over at Piper Jaffray have put out their predictions for the Apple notebook refresh that is rumored to be happening this spring.  The guys over at TUAW got a little bit more into it then I will.  You can read their post here.

To me, it’s all the same at this point.  Blah Blah Blah, MacBook refresh…..September…. new iPods…..Blah Blah Blah.  Of course I read it hopeing for some new details on the notebook refresh, but alase, nothing doing! ;(

Oh, there was another mention about the rumored “special event” in september that Apple as apparently sent specil invitations to….WHERE IS MINE??????

UBS Now Predicts an Ultra-Portable Mac

Now the good people over at UBS investments has now gotten in to the Mac rumors and prediction game. The people over at the appleinsider posted an article about how UBS is getting into the “prediction” game and mentioned that Apple is expected to announce or introduce a new Ultra Portable Mac notbeook in early 2009, maybe late 2008.  But UBS is almost positive that there will be a re design of the MacBook and MacBook Pro line. You can read the whole article from appleinsider here.

First, it sounds like UBS is reading the same exacte blogs/website that I am as just recently someone from twain posted images of an empty shell of the new aluminum MacBook.  That was an easy one to predict right there as these images are expected to be authentic.

Second, everyone is expecting an ultra portable Mac.  It’s what everyone wants, so why not add to the rumor mills and jump on that band wagon?!

Third, UBS is predicting that Apple’s share are going to sky rocket after the introduction of an Ultra Portable Mac… WELL DUH!!!  What do you think will happen, everyone is going to buy one!  Including me….maybe ;)

Stock up Supply Drought in September?

Over that the appleinsider, they wrote about how Apple resellers have gotten a message from aplle to stock up on Mac’s and iPods as the manufacturing during August will be slow.  You can read the entire article here.

Now, does thins mean that there is going to be a speed bump on the macBook Air?!?!  Of course it is pointed out that if something does come around late august early september, this will be after the school rush.  But just in time for the holidays.. Go figure!

UPDATED: Found this over at O’Grady’s Power Page.  Says basically the same thing.

Something Special Under the Hood???

Over at appleinsider.com they just posted about Apple’s next generation of Macs to have something special under the hood.  They are basically saying that the next generations of mac, more specifically the next generation of Mac notebooks will have a redesign chipset from intel.  Appleinsider went on and on about chompareing this change is just as signficant as Apple’s more from the powerPC to intel.

Ask me… WTF?  Sounds like Apple wants to make some slight changes to the way the chip is set so that they have some more proprity stuff similar to what they had with the PowerPC chip.  I think it smart, that way they don’t have knock offs!  Just my 2 cents.  But ohopefully this will help speed up the next generation of MacBook Airs!!!!! ;)
