Back to the future – I KNEW IT WAS REAL

200902240844.jpg I was doing some research on meanings of NEMA for an article that I am writing and did a search on Wikipedia to see if they knew that it means. And under NEMA on Wikipedia pops up with this image.

WOW, that is basically all I can say, sorry!

This just goes to show that anyone can put anything on Wikipedia! So make sure to double check your sources if you decided to reference wikipedia for articles.

You know, now that I am thinking about the Flux Capacitor in BTF, did it really need to be NEMA rated? It is not like it was exposed to any elements!

Justin at Army/Navy Game

justin_army_jacket.jpg My pops just sent me some more photos that he had taken on his camera from the Army Navy game is past fall in Philly.

My dad brought his old flight jacket since it was DAMN cold for the tail gating. Personally, I think the thing shrunk over time because neither he or I could fit in it! But I did get a pretty funny photo in it. Kind of felt like Chris Farly in the Fat guy in a little guys jacket.

Random Photo Find

Found this through Stumble. This is EXACTLY the kind of dog I want, Big, Dumb and easy to make a fool of it’s self!

Cool Marketing

Photo of the “popper” on a can of red bull. Now that is some great marketing and logo placement.

More Photos From This Weekend

Renee_milddle_of_something.JPG

OT_lamp_city_hall.JPG Renee and I went for yet another walk around Old Town this weekend since it was so beautiful! Not as warm as the last two weekends, but still better then it has been. Of course, I took the new D80 with me to grabs some photos if there were to be any.

Renee is always ready to ham it up for the camera. I got her in mid sentence. She was probably getting ready to yell at me or something like that. Still, a pretty decent shot I thought!

City Hall is always a good place to grab a few good shots. Not to many people were in the square so no good “candit” shots and the water fountain was off, so a no go there either. I did find a nice frame of a lamp post and the steeple on top of the bell tower. I thought it came together nicely!

There were about another 80 shots this weekend but I am not going to post them all. Most of them were of a couple of dogs running around founders park. Nothing to exciting.

Great License Plate

Saw this while driving home yesterday. Let me tell you, not the easiest picture to take with one hand, looking through the view finder, and still DRIVING! Talk about un-safe. I wonder if this person is a Marisa Tomei fan??

Zoll Design – Sneak Peak

zoll_design-sneakpeak.jpgSomething that I have been working on is a re-design of a co-workers website. While the concept has been approved, we are now in the stage of transferring the design to HTML. The site will go live by the end of the month.

While I really can’t say or show much at this time, I did want to provide a sneak peak at what I am up to. This design has actually gotten the creative juices flowing and made me think about my own sites and how they need a re-freshing.

So, in the next couple of weeks, after this project is done. Look for a new design to come around for not only chimpwalk, but also my professional site!

More Photos Around OT

ot_yacht_sign.JPG

So Renee got me out of the house again yesterday when I had sooo much to do. So if you are reading this and you didn’t get your proof yesterday, I blame Renee!!! ;) It was good to get out of the house. THe weather was around 60 degrees and Sunny as hell! The water front was quite busy!

On these walks, I have been taking my new D80 Camera. And yesterday on our hour and a half walk, I took about 200 photos. I have crunch the ones I like and have uploaded them to our photo gallery, photos.justinandrenee.com. Take a look!

How Many Stamps Does It Take?

Stamps.jpg

I am beginning to think that my father is a little crazy these days. He just sent me a bunch of photos from when I was younger, (sample photos to come) in the above package via USPS. I think it hilarious that he uses this many stamps in addition to using metered mail. I am beginning to thin he does this to mess with his post office!

New Bloggin Tool: Ecto

ecto.png A Co-worker of mine sent me a link with a listing of the top 10 things to do in order to have a successful blog. On that listing was a tool to help bloggin, Ecto by illuminex. The beauty behind this little program is that you can write post off line and publish them to the site late. Thus negating the need for internet connection to write blog post.

As most of my readers of chimpwalk know, I write to a few blogs around the net. What is an added feature that I am already loving about this program is that I can quickly and easily start writting on another blog with out having to log into another site or program. It handles all of my blogs in one place.

If you write for your own personal blog or company blog, check Ecto out. It just might be worth the $20 fee!
